I’m an abstract contemporary artist based in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands of South Africa

I graduated with a diploma in 3 Dimensional Design at the University of Johannesburg in 2008 and worked as an industrial designer in various capacities until the beginning of 2025 when I started making art. Being the offspring of 2 fine artists, I grew up being exposed to illustration, painting and sculpture. Yet even I was surprised to find myself pursuing a career in art at the age of 39.

My work explores the nature of reality, human nature and consciousness. My artworks serve as a means to document realizations and musings regarding these topics. My work has a clean, geometric aesthetic and I like to use bold color and glossy textures

I work with local foundries and cast my pieces in resins, bronze and aluminium. My process typically begins with sketches and clay mock-ups and involves CAD modeling, rendering and 3D printing
